J. 'BowWow' Bailey

... no, we won't tell you, why we call him 'BowWow'  ;-))
J. is another long time buddy of EB Davis'. They work together now for almost 15 years. On stage, he is a pure bundle of energy and positive vibration. According to Norman Darwen, Blueprint magazine (London) J. Bailey is to EB Davis what Wayne Bennett is to Bobby Bland. He is also the leader of the "Bailey Brothers Band". Don Marriott 
(Texas, USA)

...the icing on the cake ... ask many of the name jazz-, soul- or blues-bands , they love to work with this excellent trumpet and fluegelhorn player. Together with Willie Pollock, they are the long time horn section of the "EB Davis Superband".

Carlos Dalelane
(Maputo, Mozambique)

The "new kid of the block" with the Superband. This exellent bass player and drummer from Mozambique (also singer, songwriter & guitar player for his own african band) works with EB since 2002 and is a long time partner of Tom Blacksmith (german page).

Lenjes 'The Duke' Robinson
(California)

Superband-member since the very beginning. He ran off to the circus, but now he's back to hold the beat for EB Davis. Lenjes also works with his own band and a large amount of great jazz, soul and funk musicians (too many to mention them all!).
